Fall is here!
It’s an exciting and busy time of year for most: Schools are back, the summer ‘holiday mode’ is winding down and workloads are winding back up. Pumpkin and spice flavors are hits in the coffee shops, and there’s that crisp feeling of change in the air.
Fall is descending with gusto here in the North Loop, and Brady Kroll of Edina Realty is excited.
“Fall is my favorite season, particularly in the North Loop,” says Brady. There is a different kind of energy in the air with the cooler weather; Some people are walking at a slightly faster pace than their summer stroll, while others comfortably sip cocktails on outdoor patios.”
Looking ahead, how do you think Fall will affect the real estate market?
“I’m always excited about the Fall real estate market, because although it’s unpredictable, there is often an uptick in sales as people rush to beat the snow.”
Tell us some more about the current market statistics and what they represent.
“The most notable change from August to September was the average sale price increased by almost 25%. It’s important to note that this was a lot higher than usual due to a couple of upper bracket sales in September and is not representative of overall market appreciation. I predict that the rest of this Fall will be similar to 2017, and we’ll see a good number of pending sales in October and November.”
